Our Team

Mr. Baytok is a strategic and corporate finance advisor. He held senior executive and advisory positions in the corporate and public policy spheres. Mr. Baytok is an expert in all aspects of the energy and agriculture sectors. He also has capital markets experience in investments and portfolio management as well as business development and corporate finance.

In 2001, Mr. Baytok was senior advisor to the Turkish Minister of Communications and Transportation. In 2002, he established and ran Ton-ko, a private company seeking to implement a next-generation telecom network in Turkey. In 2005, he co-founded BBF Partners, a private investment firm, which later acquired Ticaret Securities. Since 2008, he is senior advisor to Gübretaş. In 2009, he served on the board of directors of Airfel and Sanko Makina. He is currently board member of Alerta Electronics.

Prior to 2001, Mr. Baytok founded and ran Baytok and Hunter LLC, a venture capital firm based in New York. Until 1999, Mr. Baytok was chairman of Equinox Finance Limited (EFL), an investment firm in Ireland. He managed the Equinox Cross-Market Arbitrage Fund, a hedge fund focused on G7 markets. In the early 90s, Mr. Baytok worked at Morgan Stanley and Co.’s as a cross-market proprietary arbitrage trader. Mr. Baytok holds a B.B.A. in Finance from The George Washington University and is fluent in Turkish, English and French.
